Dear Lost -
I have really enjoyed your show for the past two seasons. I have bought into all of your craziness like the French lady, the polar bear, and the fully stocked hatch. However, I’m starting to wonder about your direction in life. Here are a few issues I have with you as of late.
1. Introducing new characters. Sure, I enjoyed the tallies as much as anyone (and most of them are dead now), but WHY did you think it was a good idea to introduce Barbie and Ken and then act like we’re supposed to know who they are or even CARE? Have you forgotten about some of the many characters that we’ve already invested time in? Remember Rose and Bernard? Claire? Charlie? Hurley? Desmond? Rousseau?
2. Flashbacks. These were sure neat for the first couple seasons when we got to learn about our castaways, but now, it’s just plain boring. I get the fact that the island is somehow a manifestation of their demons and now it’s trying to kill them. Swell, but enough with all the flashbacks.
3. The Others or whatever they are these days. Looks like they wanted Jack for his handy spinal surgeon skills. Great. Did they think to ask??????? What the hell are they doing with Kate and Sawyer? My patience is growing thin.
4. Other Island goings-on. Does anyone talk about the hatch or Dharma anymore? What about Michael and Walt? Where are they? I would think someone would bother to ask. Are we EVER going to find out why Locke couldn’t walk? Why Hurley was on TV in Korea? WTF are the numbers? Haven’t seen those in awhile. I’m sad to say it, but I’m getting an X-Files vibe and that is NOT a good thing.
