Your Name on Toast
Yep, it’s amazing what people will pay money for these days.

I got my windshield replaced today. Hopefully something that doesn’t happen very often.

When I got back in to my car, I noticed a Ziploc bag full of goodies waiting for me. The marketing goodies, all emblazoned with the company logo included:

1. Small Plastic Bag (Husband says it’s a trash bag, I say it looks like the bag you get at the dentist with the free toothbrush.)
2. Business Card - (Okay, makes sense)
3. Ink Pen (Pretty standard)
4. Small post-its (Guess it goes with the pen)
5. Magnet (Does anyone put these on their refrigerator?)
6. Unidentifiable business card shaped plastic thing with teeth on each end. (Husband says wallet sized ice scrapper. Whatever. It looks like something you would use to make fun patterns in cake icing.)

I’m guessing this didn’t cost a lot of money, but honestly I’m just going to throw it away. It doesn’t help me remember your name, endear me to you, or anything else. How much money and resources are wasted on irrelevant marketing materials?

Think before you buy this crap for your company!
